Black women with white babies?

I have a friend who is black (semi-dark) and her husband is white (very pale). You would think thier baby would come out like a carmel color. However they had two sons, they both came out white. One is a little darker than the other, but if you didn't know their mother was black, you would think they are pure white. The lighter one has blond hair and blue eyes even. The darker one has brown hair and brown eyes. She says many times when she tells people they are her biological kids, she gets strange looks and some people don't believe her. I'm curious why this could happen. Even though thier father is white, they were born without a hint a color at all. How is that possible?

It seems that all the years of racial mixing has started to produce unintended and odd effects. I have to wonder if generations from now humans will start being born with two different colored eyes, Multi colored hair and spots of various skin colors. Like the domestic mixed breed dogs and cats we see today.

I'm sure many out there would be very happy to have a grandchild born with white skin from the fingers to elbow, Changing to black from elbow to shoulder with brown spots across the chest and back. One yellow leg and one tan leg with a white foot and reddish toes.

Gotta love diversity,

Well that is a very low low possibility to have white babies i would think the babies would be muloda. (carmel colour) Well talk to a doctor about and see

Black women with white babies?

maybe they'll develop more of their genes while theyll get older?

Kids are rarely a perfect mix between mother and father. My son looks and is colored just like me. I have red hair, green eyes and very fair skin. His father was italian- dark skin, dark eyes etc. My son is very pale and a redhead and doesn't look like his dad at all. It happens. There are all kinds of genetic factors at play.

I also personally know a family where the father is black and the mother is a pale blonde. They have 4 children. 2 of the kids are dark and two are so light you can't even see any of the father's heritage in them. They get the same questions your friend does. Strange, huh?

Your black friend seems to carry a few recessive genes. Most African-Americans do have a substantial amount of European ancestry, even though they may not show it.

My mother is blonde haired, green eyed, and porcelain skinned. My father had black hair, olive skin and brown eyes (he was full Native.) I ended up looking like him, but with gray eyes. You never can tell ;)

Black women with white babies?

You said their father is white... I am confused as to why you don't see how that is possible..

Black women with white babies?

I think you will be able to see a difference as they get older.

I am supposing here, but I think it has something to do with genetics. My grand mother on my fathers side was Chinese. That's as far as it goes, yet my daughter has slanted eyes and light skin. My husband is black and I'm also black, but very light skinned. My complexion is similar to people from Porto Rico or Dominican Republic. I get mistaken for being Spanish most times yet my kids are lighter than me. They look white, even with gray eyes. Again, I think it's genetics. Like cholesterol or some forms of cancer. Her husbands genes are much stronger that hers. Like I said, my husband is black and most people don't think the kids are his. Funny but that's how the most high made up.

Black women with white babies?

I don't know but it happens all the time. It seems as though when a black woman has children with a white men, the children come out with more of the father's genes. But when a white woman has children by a black man, the children usually have more of the father's genes too. I guess maybe the man's genes are stronger. I'm not saying this is what happens in every case but it has happened in every case that I've seen.

Black women with white babies?

maybe the mother had a recessive gene in her that made her kids white? and aside from the fact that the father is white, maybe the father had more dominant genes than the mother...

Black women with white babies?

I have a son who looks like this also.

Who cares?

Throw back.

If your friend had a white relative, no matter how far down the line it was, the gene trait is still in her DNA. Or the father has a strong white DNA trait.

When the embyo's formed, these traits would be carried and thus charactorized as prodominent white.

Example.

I have dark brown hair and green eyes.

My husband has black hair, brown eyes.

His mother has red hair blue eyes.

Out of my husbands 4 siblings, none have red hair or blue eyes.

Out of all my MIL grnadkids, not one has red hair or blue eyes.

BUT. When i had my first daughter 3 years ago, she has red hair blue eyes.

Yet no one in my family have this trait.

So my daughter is a throwback, carrying her grandmother's traits.

Does that make sense.

It is odd since my husband is part Syrian and Native American, that when i had my next two daughters, emmy has blondish hair brown eyes, sophie has black hair blue eyes.

It's all gene trait.

There was a black woman on the news one time who had twins a boy and a girl.

The girl came out white as snow and the boy came out dark dark brown. The thing about that is though, both parent's were black.

That means that her husband is more dominate. I am black and I am married to a hispanic man and I have 3 children by him. My first son is real light but he looks black, the last two my daughter looks hispanic and my youngest son is really pale, he even looks white. People question me about my children too and look at me with a funny look. This women said this too me at the park the other day, she asked me if I was babysitting. I told her hell No, these are my children. She said OMG, they look nothing like you. Meaning that they do not look black and I told her that they father is hispanic this is the reason why. People need to get use to the fact that they are tons of mixed babies in the world. My daughter looks just likeme but people can't see it because they are looking at her complexion..

Black women with white babies?

My sister is mix with white, are mother is black and father is white she came out looking like him an his skin color to. I'm black but have light skin and my father has light skin also black to but have native american blood.

Black women with white babies?

Genetics. In fact, a lot of biracial kids Ive observed with black moms and white dads tend to have really light skin. My Nigerian aunt is married to an Irish-British guy and their kids are really light and even have red hair and green eyes, just like their dad. Ive heard people say male genes are dominant, and although in my observations it has been so, but I doubt that is the truth.

Black women with white babies?

It's usually that way. Just the other day I was in Albertson's and I saw two Black children, both VERY light skinned with sandy blond hair. Mom was Black, dad was White. Usually if the father is White, the children come out lighter.

Black women with white babies?

When the mom is black and that dad is white the white genes tend to be a little more dominant. Not always though.

Black women with white babies?

Genetics are crazy! I know this girl whose mother is African(Ethiopian) and her dad is White-American,and she came out fair skinned, with dark curly hair, dark eyes, and freckles. When i first met her, i thought she wuz Jewish. That is kind of strange though, about ur friend. I would want my biracial children to look somewhat like me, i mean my features, not necessarily my facial features, but i would want them to have my genetics. It's kind of sad that ppl don't believe those are her children. I'm quite sure that will never happen to me when I marry interracially.

Black women with white babies?

Genetics is a tricky thing. It seems the father's genes were the dominant ones so those traits got passed to the kids. It happens. Some bi-racial kids just inherit one set of genes and when they try to explain to people their mixed with something else people don't believe them. If you know genetics you would there's all kinds of ways for children to turn out, they're not always the perfect mix of mom and dad traits.

Black women with white babies?

because the father's genes were stronger. just because a child is mixed does not mean they will come out a "carmel" complexion. it just means they have a white parent and a black parent.

Black women with white babies?

I know it's very possible with an full blooded Irish parent and a Black parent. (I can't speak otherwise with anyone else)

My mother's good friend's daughter married a white guy (Irish) and she was like my complexion (very dang dark) and they had a little girl, and tell me why did this lil girl have blondish/red hair blue eyes, with freckles, and she was white, man I'm telling you, she's white, LOL (if you didn't know her personally and wasn't at the hospital when she popped her out, you would have thought she was lying when she said she was hers)

So, when she go places with her, she'll fuss at her if she's acting a fool and people would like try and yell at her (the BIO MOTHER) for fussing at this lil white girl, and she'll let them have it, because she's the mother, NOT THEM.

Plus I'm good friends with this couple who has 3 children and the girls (to me are white) and the boy looked mixed, so something I have noticed those of parents with a black parent and an irish parent, tend to have white looking children.

Our kids, looked like they came from a black female and a white male ... now for our grandbaby that's a different story, LOL
