Question about Mexican American Kids?

I have a friend who SWEARS that both her kids were from the same father...the first born boy looks 100% mexican...dark skin, dark eyes, dark hair...the second born boy is 100% white, with dark eyes, and light hair...

what are the chances that both kids are from the same father?

I have some other friends that have biracial kids, but all kids came out the same skin tone and same features...

Does anyone have kids from a bircial relationship that do not look like each other AT ALL?

Question about Mexican American Kids?

I know a girl i went to school with that has 5 kids with the same guy who is mexican and 3 look like their dad and 2 look like her. The dad questioned the paternity of the 2 that weren't mexican looking and they were his. Chances are babies will look mexican if they are 50/50 but there is always the chance they won't.

He could take after the mother more, or after a grandparent. Don't keep questioning her! It's the same as calling her a whore.

Question about Mexican American Kids?

I am Mexican American and within Mexican families some come out dark and some come out light. It's the mixture of European and Native Mexican Indian. You never know what's going to happen.

I know a Mexican family (both parents Mexican) the father was tall, light and had green eyes. The mom short and dark. They had nine children...some tall, some short, some light, some dark, some with green eyes, some with blue eyes, some with brown eyes... I know some families where both parents are dark and their children are light. I know some families where the parents are light and the children are dark. But if you know the whole family like grandparents, aunts, uncles (the extended family) then you get a clearer picture.

People sometimes think wrongly that if you see a Mexican with fair traits e.g. blue eyes, green eyes, fair skin that they are white and have never mixed with native Mexican but that is not necessarily true. Just like there are some who think that Mexicans with Spanish surnames are mixed with European and there are probably millions of Mexicans that don't have a drop of European blood.

The second kid could have taken recessive traits, that's all. I am Mexican-American and I have very light skin for a Mexican. There is such a thing as a Mexican having light colored hair.

Question about Mexican American Kids?

Not all mexican children will be dark with dark eyes and dark hair. My two girls look totally different. One has brown skin with the dark hair and eyes and looks like her dad. My younger one is light skinned with lighter hair and looks nothing like her dad. I have spanish back ground. Spanish and mexican are two different things, if you dont know. Some of my family is dark and some are light. It all depends on both their backgrounds

Question about Mexican American Kids?

I think in any family bi-racial or not kids can vary in appearance greatly. In part because it's not just the genes of those two parents but from generations before. My children are bi-racial (Blk/Wht) and they have similarities but they don't look a lot like each other. Some are darker than others too. My own siblings vary in color of skin, eyes and hair but we have the same parents. It's possible that they have the same father but in this day in time it's quite possible that they don't.

Question about Mexican American Kids?

wtf?! my brothers r light skinned, they have dark eyes n dark hair, i am dark skinned. We have the same parents. By the way not all mexicans are dark skinned stupid. There r mexicans that look white. They have colored eyes n blonde hair. So b4 u start questioning another race n the way someone's children look, u better get ur facts straight.oh n i know all of this about Mexicans because that is my heritage, i live in a border town. My brothers look exactly like my dad n i look like my mom, they r both mexican. N what does 100% mexican look like? Is that some kind of a stereotype where all mexicans are short n dark? do me a favor n choose ur words wisely, it's not nice to pick at somone else's race or kids. Cuz u wouldn't want them doing it to u. If ur friend says both kids have the same father, who r u to question her?

Question about Mexican American Kids?

Do they really need to be dark to be Mexican? I'm Mexican and so is my husband. We have two girls and they're like day and night. The oldest is a bit dark skined with dark brown hair, light brown eyes, and she's skinny. My youngest is lighter skined with light brown hair, dark brown eyes, and she's chubby. My husband and I are light skined too. But he has a few dark skined relatives and a few are light skined. Who knows, your friend might be telling the truth. The kids don't have to look exactly like one parent. They could have similiarities from both parents.

It's actually pretty funny. My sister-in-law has a son from a white guy. And my nephew looks more like my husband than his father. And my youngest daughter looks white. If anything, my nephew can be my son, and my daughter can be my sister-in-law's.

Question about Mexican American Kids?

It's a fundamental rule of genetics...they have a 50/50 shot of getting some genes from one parent, while others will get others.

Did you see the news article of the parents with one brown child and one white one? It's amazing....http://www.snopes.com/photos/people/mixe...
