Change myself for better or for worse?

I'm just an all natural person- but the thing is i'm a teenager.

I feel like i'm missing out on so much, because I stopped

straightening my hair bc I didn't wanna ruin it, but people

love my curley hair. But I don't get any attention from

many people. I feel like i'm just boring. I don't dress up

often but my styles cute. Should I try to straighten

my hair sometimes? I want to get noticed. But

not for the wrong reasons. I mean I know

people say be yourself. But I think I'm too cocky

in a sense, I think im so mature because I know whats

good and whats bad for you and I think I'm missing

out on guys and just being a teenager you know?

I feel like i'll ruin myself by striaghtening my hair

all the time, but I know its okay once in a while,

I don't know, I just feel like If I don't do what other

kids do my age, I'll miss out on the whole expierence,

of highschool and all. I mean you gotta go through it all-

you cant just base it on other peoples memories.

Help?

Think positive of your self. You are perfect the way god made you and no one could change that.=)

Change myself for better or for worse?

High school doesn't last forever.More than likely you'll never see them once you leave home. There will be more experiences for you in collage. Then you wont have the rents watching over you all the time and you get to find out who you are as a person.Put your energy into your school work instead of put it in fitting in.

The way you wear your hair shouldn't define the type of person you are. If you like it curly, keep it that way. Maybe you wont turn as many heads, but the guys who do notice you will be interested in a cute, natural, confident girl who isn't afriad to be herself. It's better to attract one guy like that that a dozen who are looking for a cookie-cutter barbie girl.
