my ex girlfriend has threatened to stop me seeing my 3 children because my current girlfriend ( who i have been with for over a year and have lived together for 5 months ) trimmed my 3 year old daughters hair cos it was in her eyes ( my ex has never had a problem with it before cos my girlfriend is a hairdresser and gets on great with my kids ) . they had an arguement when we dropped them home tonight tonight in which my ex started it and threatened to smash both our faces in and i was told im not to see them again while im still with her .
my kids have told me that my ex's boyriend hits them and my ex admits to it and she has no plans to stop him .
does anyone know where i stand with this and can anyone tell me where i can get a template of a solicitors letter online for free as money is a bit tight at the moment but i really want to sort it out ? thanks

Talk to the social services and try to have the children to confirm what they told you

I would get in touch with the social services and tell them that you are worried about your kids safety while they are in the company of your ex's boyfriend.
Counter- threat her with that if she is being serious about stopping you seeing them.

ermm first of your current gf over stepped the mark, i would FLIP if she cut my daughters hair, not that the have hair yet they are newborn however.
she shouldnt have said she was going to smash your faces in. thats not nice, i dont think ive ever said that to my ex even tho he might deserve it.
the sad thing is she can stop you seeing them, and then its up to you to take her to court. which costs money and things. i dont suggest downloading a soliciters letter from online, she could check up on it and see that your not actually a client and that would look worse if if gets to court and u lied.
its a hard situation i mean i cant really judge at the moment because i wont even tell my ex where my babies are tho the situation i must stress is completely different and he really doesnt deserve to see them.
i think if you want to see them your really going to have to go to a lawyer or perhaps try mediation. she can refuse to mediate tho, this further drags on the process, best bet is get a free consultation, most lawyers do this

it makes so mad when women use their children as weapons in situations like yours i have a son who sees his dad every week, now my husband has three daughters from a previous relationship and hasn't seen them for years, which is very sad. women really cut of their noses to spite their faces and just dint realise it.
i would go to citizens advice centre and see what they have to say. good luck

Why are you threatening social services.... you are these kids dad, don't threaten, DO! Call them, report her. Do what you can to get some type of set visitation that she cannot mess with and if she does, that you can go after her for denying your rights as their dad.
Don't just stand by and let her destroy your relationship with your kids.... stand up for them and fight for them.

CAB will give you advice. Dont make threats to your ex, that will not help the situation, remain calm at all times otherwise she will use this against you for sure
