Kids haircuts?

If you had the choice to take your child to a hair salon especially for kids (they sit in an airplane/fire truck/race car and watch a dvd while getting their hair cut)(the price is about $16) or to a place that gives them a $8 cut with none of the perks, which would you choose? Why?

The kids salon for $16. I actually work at one of these places. If it's a good one, the price is well worth the haircut, and the setting shows that the business obviously cares about the kids and making them happy. At my salon, we love that the kids go home and pretend to be stylists, and do their mom's hair, THATs how great their experience is. Also, we probably have fewer criers and screamers because we cater to the kids desires.

I'd take them to the cheaper, no-frills place because it takes 2 minutes to cut a child's hair, so that by the time the movie is ready to play, the cut is done!

i would get the 8 doller hair cut because its cheaper for you and what are the kids getting from the 16 doller experience? nothing. all they are doing is sitting watching some DVD that you probubly already have at home.
