What do you all think of this please read?

Mothers

%26gt;

%26gt; This is for the mothers who have sat up all

night with sick toddlers

%26gt; in their arms, wiping up barf laced with Oscar

Mayer wieners and

%26gt; cherry Kool-Aid saying, "It's okay honey,

Mommy's here." Who have sat

%26gt; in rocking chairs for hours on end soothing

crying babies who can't be

%26gt; comforted.

%26gt;

%26gt; This is for all the mothers who show up at work

with spit-up in their

%26gt; hair and milk stains on their blouses and

diapers in their purse. For

%26gt; all the mothers who run carpools and make

cookies and sew Halloween

%26gt; costumes. And all the mothers who DON'T.

%26gt;

%26gt; This is for the mothers who gave birth to

babies they'll never see.

%26gt; And the mothers who took those babies and gave

them homes.

%26gt;

%26gt; This is for the mothers whose priceless art

collections are hanging on

%26gt; their refrigerator doors. And for all the

mothers who froze their buns

%26gt; on metal bleachers at football or soccer games

instead of watching

%26gt; from the warmth of their cars, so that when

their kids asked, "Did you

%26gt; see me, Mom?" they could say, "Of course, I

wouldn't have missed it

%26gt; for the world," and mean it.

%26gt;

%26gt; This is for all the mothers who yell at their

kids in the grocery

%26gt; store and swat them in despair when they stomp

their feet and scream

%26gt; for ice cream before dinner. And for all the

mothers who count to ten

%26gt; instead, but realize how child abuse happens.

%26gt;

%26gt; This is for all the mothers who sat down with

their children and

%26gt; explained all about making babies. And for all

the (grand) mothers who

%26gt; wanted to, but just couldn't find the words.

%26gt;

%26gt; This is for all the mothers who go hungry, so

their children can eat.

%26gt; For all the mothers who read "Goodnight, Moon"

twice a night for a

%26gt; year. And then read it again. "Just one more

time."

%26gt;

%26gt; This is for all the mothers who taught their

children to tie their

%26gt; shoelaces before they started school. A nd for

all the mothers who

%26gt; opted for Velcro instead.

%26gt;

%26gt; This is for all the mothers who teach their

sons to cook and their

%26gt; daughters to sink a jump shot.

%26gt;

%26gt; This is for every mother whose head turns

automatically when a little

%26gt; voice calls "Mom?" in a crowd, even though they

know their own

%26gt; offspring are at home -- or even away at

college.

%26gt;

%26gt; This is for all the mothers who sent their kids

to school with stomach

%26gt; aches assuring them they'd be just FINE once

they got there, only to

%26gt; get calls from the school nurse an hour later

asking them to please

%26gt; pick them up. Right away.

%26gt;

%26gt; This is for mothers whose children have gone

astray, who can't find

%26gt; the words to reach them.

%26gt;

%26gt; This is for all the step-mothers who raised

another woman's child or

%26gt; children, and gave their time, attention, and

love... sometimes

%26gt; totally unappreciated!

%26gt;

%26gt; For all the mothers who bite their lips until

they bleed when their

%26gt; 14-year-olds dye their hair green.

%26gt;

%26gt; For all the mothers of the victims of recent

school shootings, and the

%26gt; mothers of those who did the shooting.

%26gt;

%26gt; For the mothers of the survivors, and the

mothers who sat in front of

%26gt; their TVs in horror, hugging their child who

just came home from

%26gt; school, safely.

%26gt;

%26gt; This is for all the mothers who taught their

children to be peaceful,

%26gt; and now pray they come home safely from a war.

%26gt;

%26gt; What makes a good Mother anyway? Is it

patience? Compassion? Broad

%26gt; hips? The ability to nurse a baby, cook dinner,

and sew a button on a

%26gt; shirt, all at the same time? Or is it in her

heart? Is it the ache you

%26gt; feel when you watch your son or daughter

disappear down the street,

%26gt; walking to school alone for the very first

time? The jolt that takes

%26gt; you from sleep to dread, from bed to crib at 2

A.M. to put your hand

%26gt; on the back of a sleeping baby? Th e panic,

years later, that comes

%26gt; again at 2 A.M. when you just want to hear

their key in the door and

%26gt; know they are safe again in your home? Or the

need to flee from

%26gt; wherever you are and hug your child when you

hear news of a fire, a

%26gt; car accident, a child dying?

%26gt;

%26gt; The emotions of motherhood are universal and so

our thoughts are for

%26gt; young mothers stumbling through diaper changes

and sleep

%26gt; deprivation... And mature mothers learning to

let go.

%26gt;

%26gt; For working mothers and stay-at-home mothers.

%26gt;

%26gt; Single mothers and married mothers.

%26gt;

%26gt; Mothers with money, mothers without.

%26gt;

%26gt; This is for you all.

%26gt;

%26gt; For all of us.

%26gt;

%26gt; Hang in there.

%26gt;

%26gt; In the end we can only do the best we can.

%26gt;

%26gt; Tell them every day that we love them.

%26gt;

%26gt; And pray.

%26gt;

%26gt; "Home is what catches you when you fall - and

we all fall."

What do you all think of this please read?

That is so awesome. Brings tears to my eyes and makes me even more determined to hug, kiss and heap praise on my little girl when she comes home from her dad's tonight. Children are so precious and often we are so busy caring for them by cleaning, cooking etc with just forget to play with them, enjoy them because they do grow so quickly and bad things do happen. I look at my mum who as aged so much since my 12 yr old brother died 10 years ago but has came alive again because of her grandchildren. Thank you so much for making us all think. YOU are truly inspiring. God Bless you.x
