Shall i put my dog to sleep?, he is 9 yrs old and ill?

hi my name is andy, i have a 9 yr old collie cross, we have just found out he has cussions desease and started loosing his hair,we were told to use evening primerose oil and it worked, his hair started growing back. yesterday he was fine, running around playing barking. today he is being sick and his poo is very runny has very bad wind and sleeping all day,,,his vomit is bright yellow and he wont bark when some-one comes to the door.........do u think this is to do with the cussions or is it just a stomach bug...i have 3 children and dont want the kids to see him suffer.....any info will be of great help.

well, i'd talk to your vet and see what they think. if the vet thinks that he can recover then let the dog live. if the vet thinks that the dog will continue to deteriorate and will not recover, then yiou should probably get him put down.

I would really take Andy to the vets, veterinarian (most of the time) are very good at deciding whether the dog will get better or not. I'm sorry to hear about your dog.
