Because my 16 yr old girl is angry at me and my 15 yr old she told Social Serv. that I was addicted to and sold drugs, and neglected my kids. The courts placed protective orders on the kids and ordered me to have a hair test and lots of pee tests ALL NEGATIVE! Because I was in a battered womens shelter at the time they said I was not giving the kids a stable enviroment. My 15 yr old is bi polar adhd and has ptsd. She is now home schooled because her shrink said it was better for her. I am severaly adhd suffer severe depression and have stroke level bp even on meds. My 16 yr old live with her dad now. My 15 yr old and I have to go to court every 2 weeks and hear the guardiam ad liteum try to rip my girl from me! I try to do all they ask but its not enough. Every other week my 2 sons wonder if "sissy" will be home. I NEED IT TO STOP! What can we do? It's been going on for over 3 yrs and I think they need to see I was never quilty of anything but having a liar for a daughter. HELP!!!!

Truthfully im not sure there is much you can do, besdiesdoing wha they say to do. Unless your daughter admitts to lieing about it all, there realy isnt nothing you can do, but hang in there and fight for the right to keep your kids. Good luck and hang in there.

if you are or was in a deviorce they might rebel.since child abuse is high make a tape of her if you can.but as of now let her stay in where shes at shell learn her lesson.

Unfortunately, being mentally handicapped will make this much more difficult for you. The sad truth is the courts don't take much seriousness in the claims of those suffering from handicaps.

Talk to your daughter. Tell her you're not mad, but worried about her, because you don't want her taken away. Make sure she knows that if she explains to the court that she lied, or made a false claim out of stress from a divorce, she won't get into trouble.

I would suggest talking to a lawyer about this, as they can help protect your rights. Don't do this alone. Get as much help as you can to fight this.

KIds don't have ptsd with mom battered in a shelter (have you been assessed for ptsd too?) unless something serious happened that you didn't mention.

May I suggest not only the individual therapies each of you is getting but family therapy as well?

Stick with it - all this takes time, but the best thing to do is show small progress each time period and be cooperative and pro-active.
